New Residential Home

It’s an exciting time here at Residential as we prepare for our current residents to move into their new home in Kilmore.

After months of decorating the new house to be homely, supporting residents to move items for one home to another and getting all the final touches approved with HIQA - we have finally got the go ahead for the residents to move in. We are currently waiting to receive the approval of opening certificate in the post from HIQA. Once we receive this, the residents are ready to move in straight away. 

This however did take a lot of work from Chime staff, as well as external staff from Focus Ireland - whom helped us to fix  pre-existing issues that were brought to our attention by the HIQA inspector at the site inspection.

As soon as we receive our opening certificate - the 3 current residents will vacate their home in Santry and move to their new home in Kilmore.  There will be two new residents moving into the Santry home who have been having regular visits over the past few weeks already - their transition programme is well and truly underway and going well. We know it’s a long road but Special thanks to all the staff who have persevered and made this possible.  

We now have two full residential staff teams and we all look forward to our new challenge and continuing to work together as always - as outlined in one of Chimes core values - Together Is Better.
